A handover you can plan around
The checkout price buys the selected products for confirmed collection. Optional delivery is quoted separately and accepted before dispatch.
Last updated: 19 October 2026The amount labelled “pay now” at checkout covers the listed products and selected services on a collection-handover basis. It does not include optional delivery unless a delivery amount is separately itemised in the order summary. We never treat a delivery request as permission to add an undisclosed charge.
The collection point may be an approved Venter manufacturer, dealer or other commercial handover location confirmed by Buy a Trailer after availability is checked. Buy a Trailer remains the selling dealer and customer contact. Collection does not take place at the company’s private registered address. Customers must wait for written readiness confirmation and bring the requested identification, order reference and any company authorisation needed to collect.
Selecting “request optional delivery quote” records a non-binding request. It does not include delivery in the product payment and does not oblige the customer to accept the quotation. The customer may instead collect from the confirmed handover point.
Delivery is quoted according to the exact product, destination, access requirements, transport method and carrier availability. The written delivery confirmation records the charge, destination, estimated timing and any remote-area, cross-border, restricted-access or redelivery terms before dispatch.
Dates are estimates until supplier, production and logistics arrangements are confirmed. We will communicate a material delay as soon as reasonably possible and agree the lawful next step with the customer. Customers should not book dependent travel or work until the handover date is confirmed.
Goods remain at the supplier’s risk until accepted as provided by applicable law. Check the model or part reference, quantity, visible condition and included accessories at handover where reasonably possible. Record visible concerns before signing and photograph them. Prompt reporting helps us resolve the matter faster and does not remove rights relating to hidden defects.
If a customer cannot attend the agreed collection, contact us before the appointment. Storage, repeat handling or redelivery charges apply only where they are reasonable, disclosed and legally permitted. An authorised third party may collect if accepted identification and written authority are provided in advance.
The customer must not tow a trailer on a public road until the legally required registration, licensing, number plate, vehicle compatibility and safety checks are complete. Optional eNaTIS assistance can be added for R2,000, excluding government and third-party charges.
For couriered parts, keep the packaging and photograph any transit damage before installation. Fitment should be performed by a competent person. Confirming the trailer model, year, measurements and relevant running-gear details before payment reduces incorrect orders.
